What is true Worship?
At Langney we long for our worship to be the genuine ‘spirit and truth’ worship that Jesus taught. We teach that Jesus shows us the need to join our lives with God and that this should form a ‘worship connection’ with our loving heavenly Father, a desire to be at one with God.

What does this do?
Worship cannot be seen in just our singing or praying, our worship should develop our whole lives; our attitudes to the lost (those who are not yet Christians), our attitude to work, our relationships with one another. Indeed worship develops our character so that Jesus’ character soaks our whole lives. |

Singing - an expression od love for God.
Of course we do sing and singing is part of our worship, singing releases joy, so at Langney our singing worship is joyful, reflective and excited by our relationship with the God who loves us. When we worship we expect to encounter God and for the Lord to be present in all or worship and we long for him to respond to our prayers and songs too, speaking to us through his Word (the Bible), through his Holy Spirit and through our lives and love too. |
