Langney Community Church supports the Shinewater Shaftesbury Centre in Milfoil Drive Eastbourne.  The project, managed by Shinewater Community Church, has been set up to provide support and guidance to the community.  The Centre draws together resources from different churches, local charities, local government agencies and other organisations to serve the residents of the Shinewater estate and Langney.

What Happens at the Centre
General advice given on a variety of issues, including debt counselling, housing, relationship matters, benefits, community issues…  With trained money advisors and counsellors available to 'signpost' people to a variety of services, the Shaftesbury Centre saw 410 clients, totalling 1,010 appointments during 2005 making it a tremendous resource for the town of Eastbourne.
