We believe that all churches have a purpose given by God
Using Mark 12:29-31 & Matt 28:19-20, we have used the following statement to sum this purpose up:
We are to go into the world; gather people into God’s Family, enable them to grow towards Christlike maturity, develop and release gifts for ministry in order that we may glorify the Lord’s name.
| Go: | to take and share the good news of Jesus with everyone we meet through talk and generosity | |
| Gather: | to be with other Christians in places where others can see the life of Jesus in us and desire to know Christ too | |
| Glorify: | to worship our God wholeheartedly and enthusiastically | |
| Grow: | to grow our relationship with God through learning, hands on service and the provision of care | |
| Gifts: | to be released with the gifts God gives so that the church is strengthened in its work, witness and mission | |
