Who are we?

Langney Community Church is a growing church on the east side of town.
Placing the Bible at the centre of our teaching we have mandate to reach out to our all friends and neighbours with the good news about Jesus Christ.

We have lively worship on a Sunday morning with plenty of opportunity to get involved. We provide a good programme of children’s work with active groups meeting on a Sunday morning and a 14+ group asking the challenging questions on Sunday Evenings.
Small groups (Home Groups) are an important base for fellowship and prayer along side discussion and outreach.  People are encouraged to commit to Home Groups as part of our pastoral support.

In Langney we are involved in many ways including the Langney Shopping Centre Chaplaincy, a local warden assisted home and connections with Shinewater Shaftesbury and the Beachy Head Chaplaincy.

Church is not just about worship, prayer and sermons, it is a about vibrant community, care and fun and being able to laugh together.  We run opportunities throughout the year to enjoy a good social with; meals, ten pin bowling, cabaret evenings, sports events being just part of what we like to do.
